Chino Henriquez is in the UK from 5th March on a ‘Blueberry Tour’, jointly arranged by The Co-operative and Traidcraft, to share the difference Fairtrade has made to his community.
Highlights of the tour will include visiting The Fair Trade Experience at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall; giving a joint presentation with Harriet Lamb, chief executive of the Fairtrade Foundation, at the University of Salford; plus he will visit a school near Cardiff attempting to make the world’s largest blueberry muffin!
Speaking ahead of his trip, Chino said he was really excited to be visiting the UK to share his experiences about the positive impact of Fairtrade with UK members of the public.
