November 9, 2010 - Hold a Big Brew during Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade Fortnight 2011 will take place from 28th February until 13th March 2011 and we’re asking our supporters to put the kettle on and hold their own Big Brew event to help raise awareness about fair trade. What could be better than having a lovely cuppa with your friends, family and work mates?

And this year as part of the event, we’ll be looking at how Traidcraft is helping beekeepers in the developing world to become fair trade certified – and even tasting some of the wonderful sweet, sticky honey they make.

Geobar, is now even better! It’s now got more great Fairtrade ingredients, a scrumptious light and chewy texture, as well as reduced fat. Yummy.

Fair trade producers, their families and rural communities from across the world will benefit from the new Geobar range, because the bars contain Fairtrade juicy raisins from South Africa, wild apricots from Pakistan, sticky honey from Chile and rice from Southern Asia.

When you eat a Geobar you really are changing the world one bite at a time, because we’re all part of the fair trade global community. The bright new pack design and front of pack windows also let you see just how tasty the Geobar inside looks.
