We have been cooking up a storm in our kitchen over the last few months to come up with not one, but two tasty new Geobars. Geobar Crunchy Granola packed with oats and Fairtrade honey and Geobar Chocolate Break, a chewy raisin cereal bar half coated in Fairtrade milk chocolate. Perfect to take along with you on your Springtime walks!

Today is Geobar’s 13th Birthday. To celebrate, we are launching a special version of our GeoHero game. Score over 1000 points on our leaderboard, and we will donate £1 to Sport Relief. This much money could, for example, transform the lives of a whole community living in the slums of Kenya by giving them permanent access to clean water. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Senor Geo de Chocolat has fallen head over heels for Fair Madame Cocoa. She is sweet, original and full of goodness. She oozes natural beauty and, most importantly, she has a caring heart. She met Senor Geo de Chocolat throughout recent competition and is looking forward to sharing romantic days of fruit picking in the countryside and nights counting the stars. December 19, 2011 - Go the extra mile with Geobar and Sport Relief!
For 2012, Geobar is once again a supporting partner of Sport Relief. Geobar packs on sale in March will carry a lovely bright red sticker indicating that 5p from the sale of that box will be donated to Sport Relief.
As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. All the money raised by the public helps people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.
The Sport Relief Weekend takes place from 23rd to 25th March and our Geobar team will be there to meet you at some of the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Miles around the country. Good luck to all who are running the Great North Run on Sunday 18th September … the world’s most iconic half marathon.
140 members of Team Traidcraft will be taking part. So, if you are around, do pop in and say hello – we’ll even give you a free Geobar! Traidcraft is in the charity village Avenue C, 34.

And well done to the gang who completed the Speyside Challenge in 21 hours and 52 minutes – and got their energy from munching quite a few Geobars!
